Coming Soon – A Boy from the Streets

‘A Boy from the Streets’ has hit the editor’s desk today and I am left to twiddle my thumbs and pray that the red marks are few and far between.  In fact, twiddling my thumbs is about as far from the truth as possible.

Although I’m not due back to work until next week I have 101 things that I should, could and would do if I had the time – I am slowly working my way through the list although I think maybe I need a month off in order to achieve this list!

I have spent time doing the dreaded housework, hmmm and as it’s a new year I want to declutter and throw away, recycle or give unwanted items to charity shops. That was my morning as well as shopping and making homemade vegetable and bacon soup – yummy.

Now its time to settle down to writing related tasks which I fear is more challenging than the housework – only in as much as the sheer quantity of said tasks.

Over the last few days I have been working on a trailer for ‘A Boy from the Streets’ which for someone with my limited knowledge in this area has taken many more hours than I would have liked.

So tick in the boxes of blog written and trailer done so onto the next thing. Catch you soon. Hope you enjoy the trailer.

With over 25 confirmed authors covering genres such as romance, chick-lit, erotica, young adult, horror, and children’s fiction, there is sure to be something here for you or your loved one just in time for Valentine’s Day. Or at least something to occupy the kids with.

When the door close to the signing at 16:30 we will be reopening them at 19:30 for our 1940’s swing ball where The Vintage Vocalist will take to the stage and take us back in time with classics from The Andrew Sisters, Vera Lynn, and Anne Shelton. (1940’s dress is very much encouraged).

My Review of ‘Love Lost in Spring’ by Rose English

love-lost

http://amzn.to/2ilzq56

Such a hauntingly beautiful story of love and loss. I have read a few books by this author and I am never disappointed. Rose writes very emotive stories that pull at the heartstrings.
A young couple Alfie & Emmeline have everything going for them in life are struck down in their prime on a stormy night. Emmeline ministers to Alfie using age old remedies but their lives are never going to be the same again. Rose’s prose is poetic and I can’t wait to read more by her.
